PANDA – Perinatal Anxiety & Depression Australia is a specialist not for profit organisation that has helped tens of thousands of Australians get vital information and support for antenatal and postnatal depression for over 30 years. PANDA’s National Perinatal Anxiety & Depression Helpline provides confidential information, support and referral to anyone affected by depression and anxiety during pregnancy and after childbirth (perinatal depression and anxiety), including partners, family members and friends. PANDA's services are governed by the knowledge that women and men do recover from perinatal depression and anxiety and are designed to ensure that those affected receive appropriate help as early as possible.
For every expecting and new parent to know that help is available and how to access it should they experience perinatal mental illness. To amplify the voice of those who have experienced perinatal mental illness to influence governments, health planners and providers, employers and the wider community to respond positively to people experiencing perinatal mental illness.
